Both Mr and Mrs Tootsie have applied flat at Telok Blangah. We love the location and hope that we can get a good unit there. The chances is like betting on TOTO. Due to its strategic location, of 210 4 room units, HDB has already received 6000 over applicants. I can say of all the areas that I have seen, Telok Blangah Heights has received a tremendous response of applicants.

Well we shall just keep our fingers crossed :)

Naraya and Me

Today Darling and I went to Vivocity, Naraya boutique to get a nice naraya bag for Darling's god sister. Xmas gift :) Its really nice of her to buy us a Precious moment couple cups and we decided to keep it and use it for our future home.

I wanted to get a LV look-alike naraya bag for Darling's god sister. See attached photo. The naraya bag comes in white col. However it has run out of stock. Only col left is brown and pink. So we decided to get brown for god sister. I was tempted by a white Naraya bag with ribbon. I thought it look sweet. White is my fav colour for bags but too bad in Thailand, all the white Naraya bags ran out of stock. I was really tempted to get it and carry it during chinese new year.

So Mrs Tootsie put back the bag and continued to decide on the bag to get for Darling's god sister. Finally we decided on the LV look-alike bag. It's brown in colour too.

Mrs Tootsie talked to the sales lady: Please get me a new piece.

All of a sudden, Mr Tootsie: Please also get me a new piece for the white one.

I looked at Mr Tootsie happily...like a happy little girl holding her candy floss happily.

Occassionally Mr Tootsie will have some funny acts that will make me laugh...or is it I am Miss Giggly.

We've got this giggly since the day we are together, been thru with us during the journeys in the van and soon he will be sitting in Mr Tootsie's new rex car.

Whenever I am in the van, I will miss Giggly's presence...but as Mr Tootsie said, Giggly is tucked safely under the safety belt in the new rex car. I took note of that but I thought Mr tootsie was only joking with me...saying he was tucked safely under the safety belt. As always, Mr Tootsie loves to use funny descriptions.

However yesterday when we were taking the rex car to the autocar exhibition, I was surprised to see Giggly really sitting behind with a safety belt. Darling why are u so cute :P

Auto Expo 2007

Went down to the Auto Expo this afternoon. Was so disappointed. The whole show was about parellel importers and a few vendors selling their stuff. It was so pathetic. They say it was free but there was another section, the import nights or something that cost $10 to enter. My friend was saying inside was like a night club with flashing lights and gals dancing around the cars?!? Man, I rather go Thailand to watch such dances.

The drifting part was also... common. Very basic. I understand how difficult it is to drift but I think this group drift is more impressive.

After that I shocked my cousin by driving my car to his parking lot. It was fun to see his reaction. lol. I could still hear him talking to his friend moments ago about whether I was planning to buy a car. "Oh he's looking at a 2nd hand one... blahblah..." hahha..

We had dinner then supper all the while talking about cars. There is really a lot to do for my car.. rims, gauges, oil cooler etc.. I really don't know where to start. Half the time I don't even know what my cousin was talking about. There is so much to learn.

I just cant forget the Joke....during Mr & Mrs PDA wedding_16 Dec 07

The joke of the day on the 16th Dec 07, the wedding day of Mr & Mrs PDA.

Introducing the joker, Nana and Mr B.
Mr B was the driver and nana that morning has forgotten to wear her specs. And so the joke began....

They were on the way back from Mr PDA hse at Jurong to Mr & Mrs PDA new nest at BP. Its such a coincident that at Mr PDA hse, there's another bridal car and it was black in colour.

Not too sure why Mr B din take note of Mr PDA's bridal car plate and the colour of the car and blur blur.... followed the wrong bridal car. The bridal car headed to Jurong East and Mr B followed blindly. When they reached there, funny part was Mr B even blindly horned the car. "The usual horning" to alert the bridemaids and bride...but wasn't that done early in the morning already. Obviously Mr B was so blur that he forgot and horned the second time ??? !!!Doesn't he feel strange...

It was only until one guy approached Mr B car, and asked if they were attending XXX wedding.
Nana replied, No we are attending Mr "PDA" wedding...

So that was really a big joke of Nana and Mr B and all of us had a good luff!

Mrs Tootsie's mum: Wah u know wat ur father did anot! I was at home and dunno why I just feel that our hse smelt of gas. As its was raining I bring in the clothes and closed the windows...strange, why does the hse smell of gas again..when the windows are closed.

To my astonishment! Your dad forget to turn off one of the gas knob completely and the gas was leaking. My dad cooked cereal for breakfast this morning at 6. That means to say, the gas was leaking from 6 plus to 1pm

Well, as you know Xmas season is coming, we will have lots of free log cakes to eat....yum yum.

Today I had my first log cake and while Mr L is cutting the log cake, he asked me to help him out. Before that, he was searching for a knife..and I suggested how about using the portable knife that was given to us during this year company D&D. He saw the knife and commented : ...the knife so puny...then u might as well ask me to use pen knife...somemore can extend. hahahha Funny Mr L.

As I went over to help Mr L, I saw three sticks of biscuits. Mmmm Looks like Porky Sticks. Yum! So I took one and POP into my mouth. Guess wat Mr L say...yerrr you like to eat Cinnamon stick...

My god! It wasnt porky stick, but cinnamon stick! YUCKS! I quickly puked out.

Yesterday I had dinner with darling at Sakae sushi at westmall. Frogs is Sakae's logo. And over the cashier counter they sold some froggies soft toys, froggies slippers etc. I think I saw too much of that, that I had a bad dream. I dreamt of a ugly giant frog chasing after me.

Alvin and the Chipmunks

Yesterday was really a funny day. I was in a meeting with xxx forwarding co and during the end of the meeting, I was going to bring up an issue with our forwarder when I burst out laughing non stop in the midst of conversation. Everyone was looking at me with blank looks and L, my supervisor, continued with the issue. However he himself also laugh and we finally cool ourselves down and continue.

My colleagues were asking me what am I laughing. Reason being, when I was talking, I suddenly turned to one of this old man from xxx and his name is Mr P. He look like Mr Potato (from the comic character - Wang Sha Ye Feng)...and so I really cant control myself but laugh it out. Till now his comical look is still in my mind. Oh dear how am I going to face him during the next xxx meeting. :P

Anyway after a good luff, both darling and I met Nana and Nana hubby at AMK hub for dinner. Nana brought us to this coffee shop selling nice food. After which we head to Vivocity for our Chipmunks Movie. Yeah! This month, I have watched two really really nice movies ..they are Enchanted and Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Watching the 3 cutie Chipmunks dancing and prancing around and singing, it really makes my day. I especially like the youngest Chipmunks - Theodeor. Luv him cuz he is so cuddly, bui bui and cute....omg...and here's an extract from the movie that I like most about Theodeor...He is sooooooo innocent and loveable.

The pitch black lift

Just the other day I had the pleasure to take a lift that was pitch black! yes! no kidding! PITCH BLACK!

That very day in the afternoon, the lift in my block was already making weird noises and 1 part of the lights was off. I was afraid of getting stuck in the lift or worst, the lift just fall all the way down. And me staying on the 23rd floor, this is a scary thought.

Nothing happened in the afternoon so I thought should be ok, they'll send someone to repair it the next day. However, I came back that night at 11+pm. When the lift open, it was pitch black. I was waiting for a couple seconds for the lights to come on as sometimes late at night when my lift stays in the 1st floor for some time, the lights will switch off and when press the button, it'll come back on. I think some energy savings thing. But the light did not came on. I'm not gona take a pitch black lift. So I press the button for the next lift which goes the even floor. Still the same. Pitch Black. I cannot be climbing up 23 stories of stairs right?!? Moreover, I was a little urgent at that time. What should I do?At that time my balls already shrinking but I decided I must go in. So I stand inside with my right hand holding the handphone(for the light) and my left hand holding my GPS PDA phone. My mind was wandering. My god, will there suddenly be a old woman who will look at me and say 'Hi'? I will freak out man! And just as the lift reach the 23rd floor before it opened, both the lights on my hp and PDA went off at the same time!!! My balls almost went right in and fly out through my mouth. Luckily the door of the lift open just after the lights went off. Phew!

Au Petit Salut ? Lawrys mmm

And so yesterday, as promised by Mr Tootsie, we will have Au Petit Salut in celebration for our anniversary dinner. The dinner was booked at 6.30pm. As we were there early, both of us walked around and when it was 6pm, darling asked if the restaurant is open. However we were told that the restaurant open at 7pm. ??? weird ??? Our dinner reservation was at 6.30pm.

hahahaha Mr Tootsie, finally its my chance to really laugh at your "blurrrr-ness". There's another Au Petit Salut at Holland so Mr Tootsie has reserved at the other outlet :P

Since we were both in town and we need to exchange Mr Tootsie's shirt at Paragon, as such we thought of having dinner in town. I had a sudden craving for MAC fries...but as we walked passed Lawrys...mmmm....Mr Tootsie suggested how about dinner at Lawrys.

And so we had our expensive dinner finally at Lawrys! Thumbs Up for their Lobster Tail! Yummy and Juicy :)

Darling thanks for the expensive dinner...I guess its one of the most expensive and fine dinning dinner I had in my life.

I finally got the call from the china cheating lady!

I finally got a call from the china lady. The scam about winning 2nd prize in the lottery.

After hanging up the phone, I was telling Mrs Tootsie, hahahaa the lady asked me if I know how to speak Chinese, but yet I replied I dont know (in chinese)

Standard Chartered Marathon

Sunday, dec 2 was the day of the run. With 3 weeks of training, I went for my 2nd marathon. I had to prove to my dad that I was determined. In fact "I was determined to prove him wrong!" The reason I had to do it was because he was always not admiting his mistake or arguing illogically!

The conversation below was what made me sign up for the marathon.


My dad made the statement: "You're not determined."


Of course I know what he meant. Other than sports activities, I was not really determined in other stuff. But I wanted to prove him wrong.

I argued "Why am I not determined? Does running long distance shows that you're determined?"

"Yes." He replied.

"Then I'm determined. Cos I ran the marathon and it is the longest distance competitive run."


"No. You're still not determined."

"HUH?!?"

"You must be consistent. You must run a few times."

I was damn pissed off at that time. I understand what he was trying to say but he phase it completely wrong. So I completed the marathon on sunday with a timing thats not what I expected. Did it in under 6 hrs. Far far away from my target of 4+ hrs. But still..

I think I forgotten my last torture. I will never run another marathon again. Its really killing me. After the marathon I could hardly walk. I struggle every step. Standing up was a torture as you use the thigh muscle to stand. Why did I sign up for this torture??

Dec 2 was also another special day. It was me and my darling's 1 yr anniversary. Im sorry darling, we can't celebrate on that day. Actually we did.. hehe.. with free 10 course chinese dinner. But I hope you're happy with the present. The finisher medal is for you. **darling no worries, no money can replace ur medal of sweat and love. Love u.

Happy 1 Year Anniversary, Tootsies

Yesterday, 2nd Dec 07 was Tootsies' 1 year anniversary. How time flies...we have been together for a year, sharing the joy, laughter and at times, the usual couple bickering. Why I used the word 'bickering' , is because, till now, our Tootsies' relationship is smooth sailing, and I can say we haven had any heated quarrels with both of us having cold war for days. We will talk it out within a day and be a pair of lovely dovey Tootsies' again.

Although the day 2nd Dec is really a significant day for me, however we din quite celebrate for the occasion as Mr Tootsie had his 42km marathon on that day which he said is also a present for our 1 year anniversay - a medal of our 1 yr love journey (although there's another reason for him to go thru this marathon). But this torture of him having aching body and in pain, I would rather be celebrating with him for a simple romantic dinner than seeing him in pain. This will frustrate me which I think Mr Tootsie can see it. Cuz I always want the people around me be happy and not "suffering".

Nonetheless, I am still touched and thank him for still coming to my cousin's wedding although he was running a fever with aching legs on that day.

Our Au Petit Salut dinner was postponed...not too sure do we still have dinner tomorrow since Mr Tootsie is still having aching legs...

....at times I reflect on what Mr Tootsie has said:

~I know Mr Tootsie always want to be special, special from anyone...but who has the idea....the time spent? the money spent?

Just like to be special for a wedding....but at times I was thinking, how special can we have, esp in Singapore. How special do we want to have for our chinese customary dinner....who has such innovative idea? The money spent on a wedding planner who will plan for our special day.....

Acuvue Define

I decided to try the acuvue define contact lens. I've not been wearing contacts recently as it became very itchy. Its weird cos this only happens during the haze. So I was a little paranoid and decide to stop using contacts. But I got it for the purpose of playing basketball. Bought it yesterday and tried it today despite not playing basketball. Its pretty ex thou. $60 for 15 days supply. So I gotta really use it when I really need it.

There is 2 styles, the black one or the accent style or the brown one or vivid style. I wanted to get the black one but no stock so get the brown one instead. Well, brown is more cool so I don't mind. Same price also. It really works. Took a pic with the lens and my eyes really bigger!! But Mrs Tootsie say I look scary with it or was it I look scary without glasses?

Inspir Asian Fasion Show on Fri 12 Oct 07

Thanks to Kevin, both darling and I got an eye opening experience to attend a fashion gala dinner and watched those lovely models wearing the designer's clothes and cat walk in front of us.

Never in our life do we attend such gala event with pretty and handsome people ard and we saw Dick Lee.

We got a good view manz and saw those stick thin models cat walking. Dinner was served late, but food was nice :)

It was a rather last min thingy for this fashion gala dinner so both darling and I got to rush home to dress up. I dress in my working attire, more formal and darling dress in his suit.

After the gala dinner, we all went for drinks at East Coast HK cafe and talked and laughed until 1 am. Oh by the way, Kevin and Libby's Indo guy fren, Andrew look so much like Wang Li Hom. G*u*s*h* wooooooooooooo

A nice dinner at Sun With Moon Japanese Dining restaurant last Saturday and 4 durian mochi as "birthday cake" (unique right) hehe and on the actual day, dinner at Mount Faber Jewel box.

Happy Belated Birthday to me & Libby

and so it's an hr past my birthday 10 Oct 07 and I am 26 already. Nonetheless this year is definitely a memorable birthday that I shan't forget, besides not forgetting my good old frens Noi and Pink who have been celebrating my birthday since we met 13 years ago and hope it will still continue down the road as promised. This year I also had Sim Gua and NAna and their darlings to celebrate my birthday. Last but not least how could I not forget my own Darling ~ Mr Tootsie.

Well actually why do I say that this year birthday is a memorable one. Firstly, I finally found my love, my darling who celebrate my 26th birthday. Secondly, she is Libby (Darling's fren wife to be) who was born on the same year, same month, and same day as me. I am only older than her by 5 hrs. Well the only difference is she is slimmer and taller than me, and hmmm she's a Indo-chinese and I am a Singaporean.

So Libby and fiance - Kevin, Darling and myself had a romantic dinner at Mount Faber - The Jewel Box. Not much variety for the food but the scenery was nice under the nice cooling weather. Afterwhich, the guys sang birthday song to the both of us and the funny part was, both Libby and I cut the cake together ...errrr looks abit like wedding ceremony leh (*the cake cutting session). But we all had fun and good laughs esp when both our Darlings talk abt their good old days back in army with some weirdos...

Finally Finally, I get to meet my "Qing di" ~ Wei Bin as we all head for another round of coffee session at Railway Mall. The guys were practically talking abt their army days....until almost midnight

....and that the end of my memorable night.

Second Failure...

I always wanted to hand bake a nice cake for Darling...first attempt...Mrs PDA and Darling tot it was nice...tastes like cookie though.

Second attempt which was yesterday, it doesn't taste so crunchy, even worse than the first one thought the smell remains....so disappointing. See..thats how my cake looks like (Before and After)...I still cant figure out why when I cut the cake open, the choc will melt out...why must I wait for a longer time for the choc to harden inside before I can cut it.

So today I met up with my good buddies Pink and Noi to celebrate my bday in advance. As usual, we had dinner (nice dinner at Shin Kushiya, Vivocity) and Darling joined us for a drink at
Corduroy. Finally I introduced my darling to my good old sec sch buddies.

Pink was nowhere in sight, so I asked Noi where has she been...again excuses...saying she went to the ladies, so I tot what's taking Pink so long....maybe lau sia? To my surprise again, she went to buy a cake from Bakerzin. Thanks Pink and Noi. Oh yes thanks for the dress as my pressie :)

Back from Genting ....28 Sept 07

Its a relaxing trip for myself, darling, nana darling and daryl. First day in Genting, both myself and darling kena tummyache, could be due to indigestion...(*sickening) ...as such we were not able to join nana darling and daryl to the casino after the dinner.



We played Roulette on the second day (afternoon) and it was the first time I played using the Roulette machine...instead of crowding round the Roulette tables. Pretty fun though and I won! Almost 100 sgd or slightly lesser...but at least lady luck was on my side :P



Happy part was with the company of nana darling and daryl...always saying funny things esp nana darling...and from that trip, I get to know more of nana darling...she always eat her food half a portion only...maybe thats how she can maintain her good fig....though both of us love to snack.



Sad part...guess wat?!?! I cant imagine I weigh 53 kgs! Is there a prob with the machine? Or I cant accept the fact that I put on wt after I came back from Basel? Well shall solve this 53kgs "doubt" when I come back to SG. As such I still continue with our sinful food and snacks session :) ** Phew so my wt isnt't 53kg afterall, 49kg...but still must watch out Mrs Tootsie...dont let Mr Tootsie to call u ah bui :P



On our second night, we dressed nicely for a Ah yat abalone dinner set (Darling u look like a star with the CK top) and took lots of pictures and with nana's creativity, indeed we got lots of funny, candid and unglam shots...(I had the most unglam shots esp the one where I was being shot, eating the jackfruit, thanks Daryl) but well, who cares, as long as we all had a good luff :)....



On the way back to Genting, darling suggested to go for the Chai Chee minced meat noodle...Yeah ! And at the same time, we secretly bought Daryl a coffee birthday cake from BBP and hid it so well that he only suspected it when Darling drove us to East Coast park and celebrated for him...so "lomantic".

Genting trip

Im so excited.. this is my 1st time to genting.. ok fine.. im a mountain tortise. But nobody bring me there mah! actually I would prefer to go to resorts with beaches to relax. this is my kind of holiday. I don't really like those holiday where u go see scenary. Its either shopping or relaxing by the beach. But nvm.. there's a casino and this is where I will make my money back to buy my car.. hiak hiak hiak

so here I am.. forced to blog by the complain queen. She say I never blog for very long. hmm..

This few weeks my darling have been spending a lot of time with me at home. Nope, not to save money but cos my dad is overseas so my mum is alone at home. So as a filial son like myself I decided to stay home more to accompany my mum. I'm glad my darling is understanding to accompany her as well. We went marketing in the morning and buy back some stuff to cook. She cook bittergourd with eggs and I cook steam fish. So I ask my mum how was the bittergourd and she said 'ok lor'. From that tone I know something wrong. haha.. I think my mum trying not to demoralise us so later she say a bit raw. haha.. and for my fish.. haha.. I din wash the inside properly and so it stinks.

Yesterday was also my best friend solemnisation. I went early to help so I woke up at 7.30am!!! he held it at his function room at his condo. It was a very small and private event. Just his best friends around. I think that is enough. For me I think a wedding dinner is for the couple to suffer while people come and enjoy which I think is stupid. Im not one who likes to show off either so I can do without dinner. It would be better spent on the honeymoon and the renovation of the house. He will have his dinner here next month and also later in Nov in jakarta.

29th July 07 ~ Mrs Tootsie is back to Singapore!

and so I am finally gng back to the arms of my loved ones...and I am so excited.

It's 1.55 am now (Basel time) ....and u must be wondering why am I not sleeping...I did! I was feeling so full after my farewell dinner treated by my ex Ciba Thailand colleague (Taweesak), and my two other colleagues, Tetsuo san and my ever lovely fren Araceli at this LILLY (an asian eatery). hehehe there is also a reason why both Araceli and I chose this LILLY restaurant (it shall always be our classic)

So I actually dozed off on bed after a short chat with Mr Tootsie.

Well it wasnt a really sad day for me yesterday at work though it was my last day. I guessed what I will really missed most, is Araceli. I will miss all the happy times together with her. My ever so nice, handsome boss Alfredo was on leave yesterday but he was so nice that he actually called to the office and said a word of thanks. That was nice.

Hmmm..and of course how can I ever not have create a classic for myself even if it was my last day in Basel. This happened at work when I was teaching this new colleague of mine. While teaching him, of no reason, I blurted out in chinese....(What has happen to me...am I too excited to start speaking in Mandarin again)...and so I cant help but kept giggling...

And so this colleague Mr S, who has once stayed in HK for a yr before, spoke to me in cantonese : " Fai di lar, leng loi"

That is a classic ended in Basel. Well that's abt it now....I shall catch some beauty sleep before catching the 8.42am train from Basel to the airport.

One of my Italian colleague asked if this order is by air...but guess what she pronounce...is this by "hair"....

At that very moment, I was blurred and tot huh what "hair" is she talking about...

Mrs Tootsie and Feng shui

Dunno why since I came back from my 1 wk leave, I was allocated to another desk where I am hidden behind the plants. So SWAY! Look so insignificant and I feel so grumpy thru-out the whole morning ...could it be the almost withered plants blocking my feng shui? Every morning Mrs Tootsie will be a grumpy looking Tootsie until the afternoon when she can move to her old working place luffing with Ara..and I feel that time passes more quickly.

Mr Tootsie back from Switzerland!!

Yes I'm back! and I really enjoyed myself in basel.. well of course with Mrs Tootsie that enjoyment increases.. hehe.. (Mrs Tootsie: I enjoy ur company too Mr Tootsie...oppss did we PDA here?) hehe

With the exception of expensive food, switzerland is a nice place.. friendly people, easy and efficient transport and nice scenery.. Only went for a week so only visited a few places.. mainly bern(capital), basel, luzern (Mrs Tootsie says: OMG since when did I bring u to Luzern, u said u not very interested to go there so we went to Montreux with Ara lor TOOT leh).. other than that we made a trip to the german border to get some cheap chocolates (hee also our Bally shopping spree) and also to Paris to see the Eiffel tower.

As usual.. our Mrs Tootsie created many classics.. I will try to remember them as I go along with the stories..

haha.. we were in Paris on the way to the train when we pass by this guy talking on the phone. he repeated cb 3 times. i was shocked and looked at Mrs Tootsie wondering if she had heard it. than we burst out laughing. yes she heard exactly what I heard. (yeah I heard it...chee bye chee bye chee bye wonder what does it mean in french language)
2) croque mcdo
we were ordering mackers in Paris, again. i duno how to pronouce croque. I guess it should be with the silent que as in crotesque but i wasnt sure so I ask 'can I have the mcdo sandwich?'. (Luffs Mrs Tootsie..yaya after Mr Tootsie said mcdo sandwich, I cant help but kept giggling why Mr Tootsie dare not say out the word : Croque. Cuz he paiseh ma..that he will mis-pronounce it kekeke)The mackers waitress replied 'u mean croque mcdo?'

hee and the Croque Mcdo was "lilly" nice YUM YUM how I wish SG have it. A healthy slim burger for ladies who want to be as slim as Croque Mcdo (tsk tsk MR Tootsie know the "lilly" joke)

I feel so empty when I came back to my apartment...missing the past few days when Mr Tootsie would open the door.
The apartment will be full of Mrs Tootsie's laughter cuz she laughed easily at Mr Tootsie funny words....and again Mr Tootsie would play fav song aloud - (Xiao Qing Ge). Munching Paprika chips tog and watching Friends...though Mr Tootsie will keep saying me "WOLS" cuz I dont understand their "dirty" jokes....

Anyway I just dont know how to describe my feelings...just feel more than happy with Mr Tootsie around and his actions really touches me. "Messy" my Grubby Paws.

Electric lady....wooooooo

.....I dont know why ? or am I a person who have high voltage...whenever I switch on a light, I can see the little current and there goes off the light...since sat and today I have caused two lights in my apartment to fuse...why why?????????????

I may like candles lit up in my room...but please dont make the whole room so romantic for me leh.......

So I decided tomorrow morning before I leave for work....to leave a note for Mr Guida, I gonna ask him to check on my room....

Yesterday on the way to Jungfraujoch, in the locomotive, Ms A was asking an old lady to take a picture of the four of us...and guess how did the old lady position the cam. It was exactly the same pic as what Ms A has forwarded to me the power point slide of the lady in the captionedd pic attached....both of us really had a good luff this morning.

Two classics of Mrs Tootsie that happened last Saturday ...well shd I say three classics...that include one that happened today over lunch with my colleague Ms A from Mexico.

Classic 1 (Saturday, 23 June 07) at Titisee, Schwarzwald.

Both myself and Ms A were inside this shop. I was looking at those lovely angels figurines...too engrossed...I knew that someone has passed by and stopped beside me. Her size, the colour of her dressing was so similiar to Ms A and so all the while I assumed it was Ms A who was beside me......

I turned around with my eyes fixed on the angel figurine without looking up and said : IS THIS NICE.....to the person (whom I "assumed" was Ms A).

................Silence.............no response and I looked up. Oppps...it was not Ms A and the lady was giving me a blank look. I controlled myself and turned around and kept giggling. When I told Ms A, both of us laughed until our stomach ached.

Classic 2 (Saturday, 23 June 07) at Titisee, Schwarzwald.

Ms A and myself were returning back to Basel. So we found a seat while waiting for the train at Titisee train station. On the bench there sat an old couple. I sat on the bench first. When I sat, there was a loud THUD and both the old couple jerked. All of us, including Ms A saw what happened and kept laughing. Well I guess I must be too heavy ;( cuz when I sat on the bench, both the couple jumped up abit....

Hmm must be the bench lar.....too old le.....better change to a new one lar....

Classic 3 (Wednesday, 27 June 07) at Rosental canteen, where my office is

Both Ms A and I were chatting while having our lunch at the same time.
Ms A's spoken english wasn't that clear...so sometimes I might need her to repeat.

I cant remember what I told Ms A but I knew its about our mother.

The classic begins here....

Ms A: ur manager is a woman?

Mrs Tootsie : (trying hard to figure out what Ms A was talking abt...but since the last conversation was about our mothers) , I replied : she is a housewife

Ms A was giving me a blur look ( I suppose Ms A must be thinking what housewife am I talking about) ??????????????

So I asked Ms A to repeat what she asked....Guess what !! She was asking whether is my manager back in Singapore....a woman...

I burst out laughing and told Ms A I have misinterpreted her question and again both of us laughed it off.

Well thats my classics that I have accumulated for days....stomach cannot take too much laughter any more...too much laughing gas....no wonder I "detox" twice today....hehehehe

Oh dear....I think my legs or should I say my pig's trotters are getting fatter? or heavier? My one and only pair of working shoes...and its my fav shoes...is spoilt...one of the base sole..cracked...no wonder when I walk I can feel the ground abit.....

Woo..this was the first time I saw ice rain (well maybe I'm sua ku cuz it never happens in Singapore even if it is...I wasnt born into this world yet haha)...so it really looks beautiful when I look out from my apartment window. I cant imagine summer is coming and still there'll be ice rain. Isn't wonderful if it snows :0....hmmm snow..my fav.

But well another sad thing is...I gonna move out of this great place within a few hrs and stay in a hotel (with no fridge, no water flask...I cant imagine that). Luckily its only 10 days...and I'll back again to Trillen Apartmenthaus on the 18th June :) till the end of my stay in Basel HOORAY....reallz counting and Yeap hoping also that Mr Tootsie can secure a seat and fly here.

London Famous Four Season Duck Rice

Hee I have been really longing for chinese food and its sooo nice to see so many chinese food restaurants during my trip in London last Sat. Ms J had duck rice...looks Yummy right...it is..... and I wanna drink something soupy...so I had pork dumpling soup with mee...makes me feel back home :)

and so today we had a mini party organised by the head of PA (my dept) ~ Marcel. He is really a good host....as usual a Thank You speech...and everyone got a gift....a bottle of red wine and lottery ticket hehehe....results will be out tmr..May I win Yeah!

Finally I see light in my apartment toilet and kitchen after a 3 days short circuit since last Fri. Like what Mr Tootsie said..."Enlightenment" hehehe. So..... I went to my colleague's apartment for dinner. Ms C.L and her husband are nice to organise a dinner with Ms R, Ms Cookie, Ms V and her husband and myself to their apartment. Oh yes how can I not include our big chef for tonight's sumptuous dinner ~ Ms Soke Meng (see attached pic). I shall let u guys know her big name. She cooked bee hoon, steamed fish and tandoori chicken. Yummy. As for Ms V, she's an indonesian so she cooked spicy prawns and vege. It tastes great too esp the spicy prawns though they are not my fav tiger prawns hehehe. We had a bit of wine and I think I drank too much, I started to get abit tipsy and got rashes too opps.... But the white wine is nice that's why I had abit too much. kekeke.

And this is the first time I saw sun set here, in Basel. It was already 9pm then. Anyway tonight's dinner was a good one esp when we are in such a nice cosy apartment. Well deco and I feel so jealous how am I not staying in such a apartment. Sob Sob.

Well maybe when you've seen my room, u will know why I feel so jealous why cant I not get those big cosy apartment. Its just so unfair isn't!

Its just not my day today, cuz my "shipment" just eta today and was feeling so so tired and lousy. Not really in a mood to begin my shopping spree. However still, I decided not to coop myself up in my apartment.

I had my free breakfast at the cafe beside my apartment and then I went to the supermart to grab a box of ice cream for Sunday dinner with my colleagues. And guess what, I saw this strange eggs...it was like orangy red in colour. Nt sure what it will taste like but decided to take a pic of it. Hee.

And so I went back to my apartment again to put my ice cream in the fridge before I start my shopping. AND what AN Unlucky day!!!!! The light bulbs in the toilet and kitchen have fused. HOW AM I GNG to HAVE MY SHOWER in the dark. See photos attached. It just look so scary and I got to endure for 2 more days (on Mon) before the housekeeper comes and tidy my room again. No choice, I got to use Mr PDA's torch. What a day!

And I just found out its SHORT CIRCUIT! Even my fridge is not working. THERE GOES MY ICE CREAM...sob Mrs Tootsie

This is the most embarrassing cum funny classic I ever had. My naughty stomach is hungry yest evening cuz i only had a crispy ham pastry bread with kaffee for lunch....and so my stomach complains by making noises...somemore so loud until one of the manager Mr T heard it and looked up.

I wanted to giggle but i control and i pretend to cough to hide my embarassement and went to the toilet for a while....so paiseh

Mrs Tootsie ... to Stuttgart, Germany

I felt rather sleepy and lazy on a Sunday morning cuz I gonna wake up early, meeting my fellow colleagues to Stuttgart, Germany...gonna catch the 7.40am train. I suppose I must have lived up to my name of being a Sotong...cuz though I am always the early bird, BUT I was at the wrong meeting place. All of them were waiting for me at German Railway Station but I was at Basel SBB (where in the hell am I doing there , where we are suppose to go to Germany??!!!!). Wake Up Mrs Tootsie!!!! And so becuz of my sotong-ness, we have missed the 7.40am train and gonna wait for another hr for the next train. Feeling paiseh, I treated my colleagues Kaffee at Subway.

That was one of the classics of Mrs Tootsie on the way to Stuttgart. This place is another shopping area like Zurich, with mostly high end luxury boutiques but since its a Sunday, all the shopping malls are closed and our intention was to visit those old castles, churches etc. Short trip though but pretty relaxing and fun cuz we might have more plans to visit other places in Europe to kill our wkends, hopefully...if nothing crops up.

Oh yes I gonna share this interesting incident that happened on the train on our way back from Stuttgart. I think there's a soccer match that has just finished and the train was rather packed with those soccer fans supporting their home team. I came to know abt this german home team KSC cuz I heard roars and cheers in german from those ppl at the train stat and train. In the train, there's a group of youngsters behind us shouting and singing their cheer song for their team KSC. And then all of a sudden, this guy I suppose he was drunk, went up to Ms J and Ms W.W and sat between them with arms around them. Of course looking at this sight, me and Ms R kept laughing..... Ms W.W who is a shanghainese, felt so shy and kept shoving the guy's hands away.
Then one of the guys asked if we understand what they were singing, and this drunk guy interupted and said : OH MAn, these Bitches shd know...and he goes oppss cuz maybe though he was drunk but yet he called us Bitches and he feels not so nice about it ..esp we are tourists here afterall...and so the cheering and shouting continues until they alight. Phew!

Well u must have guessed that this team KSC is the winner but u're wrong hahaha they are the losing team...they are just cheering to keep their spirits up.

What a interesting trip today....

So many days of taking the cab and the one today is the WORST! Someone told me that the taxis here are more civilized than those in the south(nearer to shanghai I guess Suzhou is a little puny bit more civilized than the South). No one in Singapore would ever imagine how this clown drive. He dives into any hole he can find to get himself ahead. And he almost bang into a audi A6 and guess what he says? what a typically JEALOUS F*&KER would say 'He drive those type of car wana play with me, I this car bang nevermind'. People with this kinda mentality will remain where they always will be. Poor and forever jealous of others better than them. And then the radio was talking about a Singapore company investing in China to set up a hotel. Didn't really pay attention and know the details but he was commenting that that SG guy was only interested in SG because overhead here will be lower. YA BUT AT LEAST WE DON'T USE UNDERHAND AND UNETHICAL MEANS TO CHEAT LIKE YOU CHINESE RIGHT?!?

These days not sure why I had funny weird dreams...I told Mr Tootsie I dreamt twice of myself and him gng to a restaurant selling curry crabs...and the dream stopped there ....to be continued again??? not sure when hahahaha

And yesterday I dreamt of Mrs PDA getting married, wearing a lovely wedding gown but her veil is weird...usu the veil shd be those lacy-like thingy that covers from the head down to the face but Mrs PDA veil, instead of the lacy-like design, hers is a strawberry covering from her head down to her face...and I remembered clearly the colour on the head is gold...(leaves of the strawberry??) and the one covering her face is the strawberry.... looks funny on Mrs PDA.

And today I got to report back to work...not exactly to help out but as a whole of my dept team, its better that I come back. And so as usual I came to the office early to touch up my reports...and worked a total of 6 hrs hehehe can earn abit of OT $ haahah....

Oh ya what serve me right huh??? U know what ...I haven been wearing my "Tai Tai" berms and so since its a weekend, I decided to dress down and wore my "Tai Tai" berms...but never to know when I stepped out of my apartment this morning, it was drizzling and chilling cold...the coldness bites on my legs....woooooo serve me right manz! And u know on the way back from my office, I was chatting with my mum, but I was shivering so badly that my mum can tell from my shivering voice hehehe...in fact I was hungry and cold...I tot of getting Mac Sausage McMuffin but I couldnt get it this morning and so I endure my poor stomach for 6 hrs with only a cup of Kaffee (German for Coffee) hehehe

Well as usu I did abit of shopping but since its drizzling I decided to go back home early to cook a bowl of HOT SPICY dan dan mee...my version for the spicyness hehehe....and to top it up, i bought for myself HOTDOGS hehehee I have been craving for it since I came here...I'm a hot dog lover...I chose the cheapest hot dogs but still kind of ex...4 for CHF2.10

Yoohoo I cant wait to go to this place this Sat with Ms J, her bro and sis in law to Mendrisio where all the factory outlets are....so excited...but the journey from Basel to this place by train is pretty long...abt 5 hrs journey...but its fine.... cuz its another shopping for me again...esp to factory outlets...i love it hehehe..

Mrs Tootsie having insomnia & weird dream

I cant sleep yest....I slept at 12 and then woke up at 4am and then I couldnt sleep...so I read the Cosmo mag awhile and forced myself to sleep.

so...this was when I had a weird dream...I dreamt that I was pregnant and my baby was very tiny. It's a she and she is only the size of last finger. Nonetheless in my dream I was carrying her in case she dropped on the floor and I was commenting on her nose....why does she have "conical flask" like me and not sharp nose? However the baby is a cute lit'l one but dunno why she is so small...she is like weightless...

Weird and short dreams...hmm...

SAINT LOUIS is such a boring place and their fashion there..OMG...I think I better use a paperbag to cover my head if I gonna wear that...so outdated!...But heard ppl go to their supermarche to buy their food...fresh fish and bread ..HOT HOT from the oven...

OH yes...I gonna do my black mask facial now...i realise i got lots of "Black peas" on my nose...like so many mths didnt do facial....so unsightly those "blackies" on my nose tip.

Weather: Sunny but cooling :)

And so today I am gng to meet Mrs R to St Louis (in France border) for shopping at 2pm as the shops there are opened from 2 to 6.30pm. Feeling bored, as usu I woke up early at 8am...and went shopping alone at 9.30am where most of the shops are opened....

Mrs PDA!!!! I think u will like the shops here in Basel, cuz most of the tops I think are what you usu wear and they are cheap here and so I bought for Mrs PDA a nice peach pink top at S$15 and two tops for my sista! Right now I found a fav brand here in Basel and that is H&M...something like Topshop but selling at a cheap price.


Well I have restricted myself...only to shop and buy every end of the mth, otherwise I gonna be broke though its not my $....hahaha I spend it with the allowance given to me:P

Hmmm....before meeting Mrs R, on my way back to my apartment, I went to COOP for some marketing....I bought Grapefruit juice hehehe (can slim down ma)....

Mr Tootsie in... his beloved country

Yes. I am going to CHINA, my favourite country. This time I am going to suzhou to take over a supervisor job from my colleague. Well, why you ask would I go to China if I 'love' it so much. Cos I though maybe I could please my parents and slowly ease them into letting me buy my sports car.

I've been thinking about it for the longest time. Since I came back to singapore last August. Now my target is wrx(common but cheapest turbo car out there), integra(nice but drive b4 type R so.. but nevertheless I still love to own the integra). And today I finally add another one in. the civic. the good thing about this is i can ask my dad to buy me as he say b4 when i was looking at a car mag, 'just buy a civic la'. So its not a sports car i can ask them to buy me. That will save me all my money to mod n invest. So.. hmm... this is really for considering. BUT civic is wayyyyyyy too common too. everywhere i go now.. civic. i think its the most common car. even though the price is high compared to lancer, vios, sunny etc. i mean civic belongs to this category but the price is premium. but still everyone seems to be able to afford it.

So Mrs Tootsie has finally left Ms J apartment and has her own comfort zone though its not as big as Ms J's...its a hotel apartment though so well, small is fine for me...too big I am scared. However yesterday I had a hard time turning in cuz I was alone in the room and pretty scared....so I on the lights, on the TV and switch all channels and realise that after 12 midnight, there's a few channels that are xxx....(u shd know what am i referring to hahaha) Nothing much to see lar...old and saggy....hehehe...So I switch to MTV and listen to some english songs....
