Step Up & Steak :)

Mr Tootsie finally recovered and its really sweet that dear dear as promised.....whipped up a nice steak dinner on Saturday.

Yummy juicy well done steak!

So when dear dear decided to cook for me steak, we went to do our marketing at Holland V cold storage after we visited my Ah Kong at Gleneagles hosp.....I pray hard and hope my dream is not real..... :S....Kong Kong will be fine..

Well back at Mr Tootsie's place, I am happily resting on the bed watching the last episode of the HK dvd (Pillow of Mystery) cuz Mr Tootsie watched finished without me sobsob! And Ta da....

Here's dear dear ai xin dinner for me as promised ...Beef Steak accompanied with a bottle of red wine, Alphabet soup, a bowl of beans specially for me cuz I love beans and some "mushroom sauce" that Mr Tootsie said was supposedly to be abit starchy but well...nvm...here's the ai xin dinner

Mr Tootsies' Ai Xin dinner for me :)

Well, this wkend is really a sweet one for me....and I must say this is the first time that Mr Tootsie has bought movie tickets online and gave me a surprise today....Hmmm maybe to compensate to me...cuz being a sotong, I actually wasted $20 over dollars booking the movie tickets for Step Up 2 The Streets. Firstly I wanted to watch the movie on a Tuesday, 25th, but sotong lor, I booked the tickets under Mon, 24th and thus gave it a miss. So on Tuesday, 25th, I only realised my mistake and re-booked the tickets again, however dear dear was sick and not able to watch it....

So today, I was rather surprised that Mr Tootsie picked me up early for lunch before our Jap class....but dear dear actually told me he din sleep well, slept for only 1 or 2 hrs...I can actually tell from his look and from his appetite....so I decided to skip our Jap lesson with Mr Tootsie...pei him to go home and sleep....before gng downtown to watch the evening movie that dear dear decided to surprise me...cuz dear dear din surprise me before with any last min notice to watch movie...usu I am the one suggesting to watch the movies we wanna watch hee :)

ok dear dear....u're so sweet...Muacksssssssssssssssssssss

Luv,

Mrs Tootsie

Mcdelivery it!

I used the Mcdelivery It yesterday TWICE! hehe..

It was so easy to just click on the internet. Think of the benefits of using the internet to the telephone.

You don't need to memorize telephone number. Up till now I still don't know what number to call for mackers. The only number I can remember is pizza hut and that is because they drill that in my head with their 2353535 advertisement. You do have to memorize the URL but pls.. in our generation, anything we don't know, we can GOOGLE it :)

The menu is there for you to see. You can choose what you want easily.

Actually I shouldn't be eating mackers. As it is "oily" and because of my diarrhea, I'm suppose to avoid oily food and dairy for a week. My sis-in-law even said that oily food may trigger back my diarrhea. Are you sure?? I never experience that before.

I really can't resist Mcdelivery it. Especially when you're alone and hungry..Now as I'm watching soccer I'm thinking of ordering it. NO.. I must resist!

Recovered

Finally I have recovered.. 2 days of diarrhea until I was so weak in my knees.. my butt hole was burnt from the chilli tuna.

I didn't knew it was so bad and I refused to go to the doctor at first but Mrs Tootsie decided to call my sis-in-law to bring me to see one. It was not a bad trip. I think.. I think.. I saw Dawn Yang. But she doesn't look sick. You know I really wonder sometimes how many of those who sees a doctor is really sick? Most of the times I don't see anything wrong with them. They seem perfectly fine. Chao Keng?

Mrs Tootsie: Of course you will recover fast lor....with my TLC, travelling to and fro to ur place...bring soupy food for u. And why are you still back to your OWL days huh...still blogging at mid-night...:S

UnBelievable / Believable??? Tortoise!!!

When my mum first told me yesterday, my mind was like: This is unbelievable. Only dogs can do that lor...

But from a TORTOISE....???? errrr I really have doubts.

(Above pic is not exactly my uncle's tortoise...just an extract of a photo of this asian brown tortoise)

My mum told me that one of our uncle, his family has kept this tortoise for years...before I continue I wasnt sure if that could be the reason....their whole family are vegetarians.

Here it is...my uncle's wife told my mum that the tortoise can actually understand what they are talking about and follow their instructions ...exactly like what a dog is being trained for...

So this tortoise, when it's being told to put out his head, his head will stick out from his shell...and vice versa. Also if ask the tortoise to "shi shi"(means pee), it will pee... can you believe this???

One of other uncle dont quite believe it, so he took home the tortoise one day to his house and asked the tortoise to stick out his head etc...or "shi shi", but the tortoise wouldnt listen....and FYI the other uncle of mine, is not a vegetarian...

So I am still pondering...has this got to do with religion?? Well or maybe the tortoise recognise only his master's voice....

Hmmm really weird...

Ayam brand chilli tuna + stomachache =

A reminder to myself... I must make sure I take care not to get a stomachache AFTER I consumed my favourite chilli tuna!

This afternoon I had a craving for my favourite Ayam Brand Chilli Tuna so I went downstairs to get a can and a loaf of bread. You just have to spread it on the bread like you would with peanut butter/nutella/kaya etc and I gurantee you that it taste the best!

My favourite snack.. Ayam Brand Chilli Tuna
Than after dinner I had a nap. It was raining and I had the fan on but somehow I was still perspiring so I didn't had the blanket on. This is when I think I caught a cold on my stomach. After I woke up I had a stomachache and do you know what happen when you have hot chilli coming out of system? A burnt err.. well you know..
It was so painful.. but I think this is the sacrifice I need to make for something that taste so heavenly..
Mrs Tootsie: Poor darling....

Ai Xin Sesame Chicken

Since my parents were not at home, Mrs Tootsie decided to cook me a meal. As you know, Mrs Tootsie doesn't cook much. She isn't a good cook like me.. trained from watching my mum cooked when I was young. I would steal some salted veggie to eat than stand there to watch her cook. Than my mum would teach me how to cut (which I must haolian that I'm quite good at cutting :P), how to put some salt or flour into the oil to prevent it from splattering, how to stir fried the dishes properly etc.

Ai Xin Sesame Chicken

So she bought my favourite scallop cake and cooked the Sesame Chicken. For someone who seldom cook I must say this is very good. Almost as good as what our mums would have done. I was impressed! delicious!

Ai Xin Meal

Thank you my dear..

Next week, I'll cooking steaks for Mrs Tootsie :)

Disgusting MAGGOTS!!

Warning: Please do not continue if you hate maggots or if you just finish your lunch/dinner.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
I should have learnt my lesson... This is the 3rd time it had happened!!!
This was what happened... Mrs Tootsie was making dinner and she was searching for a bigger pot to cook noodles for both of us. AND SHE FOUND THIS!

Dead rotten fish infested by maggots!!

Then came a flashback. The last time my mum went overseas I was asking my Dad all the time if he smell something weird in the kitchen. He agreed with me but we didn't find anything amissed. Then one day he just open the turbo boiler and found.. yes you guess it.. MAGGOTS!!

All packed and ready to be throw. I even threw the plate the rotten fish is in. Not gona use that again for sure!

So I immediately open the turbo boiler and true enough, I found maggots again.

My parents left for Shanghai on the 18th and this couple of days I've been smelling something weird everytime I was in the kitchen. I thought it was a dead rat but I've never seen a dead rat in my house before. I carry on thinking about what could be dead. A crockroach? Couldnt smell like that.. So its 4 days of dead fish and look how much the maggots have fed themselves. So fat and juicy.

Each and everytime my Mum was making fish.

I had to clear it once, I had to clear it twice and NOW I have to clear it again..GROSS!!

Look how fat and juicy it is

It's so gross to clear those maggots. I had tissue stuff into my nose than I wash the pot holding the maggots. Some of them are dead and they stick to the pot so tightly. While washing I even squeeze a few of them. YUCKS!

Anyone for Singapore Fear Factor?

Now although our dinner is ready. We couldn't eat it. We threw everything away. Our appetite is gone.

I must remind myself to make sure I look into the turbo boiler the next time my parents goes overseas

Darling I'm sorry I brought a guy home to sleep

So yesterday qing di (err.. translated to love's opponent. And that is another story. He's just my good friend) called me out for supper. After that he suggested coming to my place (since my parents is away and he is currently unemployed) to watch soccer. Yes, at 4am.

And this morning I told Mrs Tootsie about it and she starts asking weird question. This is our msn conversation:

Mrs Tootsie >> says:
darling really my qing di slept with u?

Mrs Tootsie >> says:
hahaha

I though by the "hahaha" she was playing with me so I played with her.

Me => says:
ya la

Me => says:
he slept on the sofa

Mrs Tootsie >> says:
oh why leh

Mrs Tootsie >> says:
so pitiful

Mrs Tootsie >> says:
i tot the other room?

Me => says:
he dun want leh

Me => says:
so i squeeze on the sofa with him

Me => says:
naked

Me => says:
we shared a blanket cos it was so cold

Me => says:
but luckily our bodies warm each other up

Mrs Tootsie >> says:
yerrrrrrrrrrr my god

Mrs Tootsie >> says:
really?

My god! she actually believes me.

I admit I got lotsa gay traits... like..

1) I love shopping
2) I got obscene amount of clothes.. would have obscene amount of branded clothes, shoes etc if I were rich
3) I faithfully apply sunblock everyday before I go out
4) I have started on anti aging
5) I have gone for manicures
6) Would have gone to pluck my eyebrows if not for my Mum telling me it'll change my life and not do it.

But still.. My god! she actually believes me......

Does this look "chao ta"?!?

Does this look "chao ta"?!?

Mrs Tootsie says this is "chao ta"! obviously this is the skin of the potato... *vommit blood*

Anyway, just came back from watching The Spiderwick Chronicles with Mrs Tootsie. I'm not really a critic be it movie or food. I just have 5 ratings. Either very bad, bad, ok la, not bad, very good. For this movie I would say its very good! I realy enjoyed it. So did Mrs Tootsie.

Mrs Tootsie: Yes Yes the whole group of white little fairies in the movie is still in my mind...cuz since young I always wish to be in a fairy tale land... :)

I saw a GIANT BUTTERFLY!!

I was going down to wash my car earlier when I saw this!

Puny eh?

Look again!

Now does it look huge?

It is at least 15cm. The last time I saw a butterfly(or is that a moth? I would think it is a butterfly as I always think moth is like dull while butterfly is colourful. And this butterfly is colourful!) this size would be in Phuket outside my room. But from what I remember the Phuket one is not that big.
Here's the butterfly/moth I saw in Phuket

Its like they have eyes on their wings. Fascinating!

And to prove that I'm not lying about the size, I use my hp pouch as a benchmark. The handphone pouch is used to keep my Samsung U600 which is about 10cm. Plus the pouch was closer to me as I didn't want to go too close the butterfly least I scare it away. It is slightly bigger so I guess my estimation of 15 cm should be close.

isn't it beautiful? Such a magnificent creature!

VRROOMM Private Garage in the sky

Yes Private Garage in the sky...and that's where you can find in THE HAMILTON at 37 Scotts Rd.

This is even more cool than St Regis....Residents of the 30 storey tower will be able to drive their vehicle into a special glass elevator that will lift the vehicle from the ground floor to their "porch" on the same level as their living rooms.

MY GOD MY! THIS IS SO COOL! ** Mr Tootsie eeee...wink wink hehe

THE HAMILTON will become Singapore first residential high-rise and third in the world after developments in New York and Dubai, to have this VROOM with a view parking feature.

Well from what I know...this mechanised public carpark was first launched last month at Chinatown night-life hub Club Street.

THE HAMILTON will not come cheap worrr...$12million a unit.

hmmm just a thought...what if the lift breaks down...mmm...

Antidote to Monday Bluesssss....

In order to get over my Monday Blues...I will try to find sth to laugh it off..

Here's my antidote to the Monday Bluess...

Antidote 1:

Teacher: Peter, why are you late for school again

Peter: Well, Miss, I dreamed that I was playing football and this game went into extra time

Antidote 2:

Waiter: I've stewed liver, boiled tongue, and frog's leg

Customer: Dont tell me your problems. Give the menu card.

Antidote 3:

A drunkard was brought to court. Just before the trial there was a commotion in the gallery. The judge pounded the gravel on his table and shouted, "Order, order."

The drunkard immediately responded: "Thank you, your honour, I'll have a scotch and soda."

Antidote 4:

Customer: Waiter, do you serve crabs?

Waiter: Please sit down sir, we serve everyone

Enjoy!

Are guys all so impatient on the road?

Hmm to all guys drivers and Mr Tootsie:

1) Why do u guys lose ur cool so easily on the road
2) Why so impatient on the road even even when u are not running out of time?
3) Why cant u all just stop grumbling for once....like Mr Tootsie he will mumble: "Move it Move it"... (hey darling its not like u can use the power of words to move the car in front)

Maybe my darling is abit impatient and quick tempered...thats why....
what abt u guys out there who drives? Are u like this??

Anyway sitting beside Mr Tootsie, I only remain silent and listen to the music...but at times I must admit I do get pissed off by some drivers esp those driving in the multi storey carpark of those shopping malls...if I am the driver, I will sure HORN at these drivers who take their own sweet time driving and looking for parking lot....(eg Shaw Centre CarPark)....C'mon there's 12 storeys and why waste ur grandfather's time driving so slowly and searching for lots...these ppl are just so lazy....cant u just drive faster, drive straight up to the top storey as there's plenty of empty lots waiting for u.....its not like u are taking stairs down to the mall. Irritating!

Why is he so weird

Recently did I realise that Mr Tootsie has weird habit. Guess wat:

He likes to play with the pillow edges (not sure for the other pillows)....

Whenever I am in Mr Tootsie's room, watching HK dramas together, I will notice his weird habit will begin....playing with the pillow edges.

Hmm weirdo but cute darling :)

10 cents to use the lift?!?

We were at Shaw Towers taking the lift down. When we reach the 1st storey, Mrs Tootsie suddenly blurted out "wei she me bu yong yi mao qian? (How come no need 10 cents?)"

err... darling.. you need 10 cents for what? We are not going into a public toilet you know?

Mrs Tootsie.. never fail to say the stupidiest thing to make me laugh..

Why girls shouldn't ask their boyfriends if they're fat

1) If we say they are not fat, they don't believe us. They ask us again and again. Its like they want us to say they're fat. (But please never fall into that trap)

2) If they detect even the tinest of hesistation from us, they think we think they're fat. After which we have to spend the next 81723981 hours to "hong" them.

3) if we say they are fat.. thats IT! All I can say is good luck bro!

We're in a lose lost situation no matter what we say.

Seriously, if you think you are fat, please do something about it. Do not bother your boyfriends with "Am I fat darling?"

Yes.. after this post.. I would have to spend the next 9825634 hours to "hong" Mrs Tootsie.

Wish me luck!

Piranhas munching on a mouse!!

Warning: As above, do not watch if you find it disgusting!

I would have find such things exciting when I was younger but now I find it cruel.

Imagine you are the mouse than throw the mouse in..

Venture Corp CEO's wife charged with causing hurt to SIA stewardess

I guess this news should be big enough that most people would have read about it.

This is my views on it. As a wife of one of the richest man in Singapore, she should not slap anyone. She got to think of her husband's reputation if not herself.

Anyway, why do you need to dirty your hands when you got all the money in the world to hire someone to do it? Well, for me I'll just keep my cool. No big deal. Later on I can hired people to teach her a lesson. Hiak hiak hiak..

30 million good class bungalow for sale!

Note: Pardon the pics. I tore them off a newspaper. Its crumpled and the lighting is not even.

So my dad came into my room and passed me this:

Look at that! look how huge it is. In fact it is 2 good class bungalow(GCB) (I didn't even know there is such a term till today) at 21000 square feet!!!
Mrs Tootsie: What does GCB stand for ?

All these are designed by George Lim who is into the niche luxury property developer. Everything is handpicked by him "to ensure that only the finest materials were used."

Look how huge the kitchen is. Haiz.. a pity Mrs Tootsie don't really cook much but it'll be a good place for her to learn. But by then will she wana learn? or she will just hired a full time chef?
Mrs Tootsie: Thanks AH Mr Tootsie! I wanna be like the HK drama (Man Hon's wife...though she got maid and very rich but she still cook AI XIN soup for the family)

This would be my favourite place. I would have a bmw z4 M roadster and a Mitsuoka Orochi for weekend cruising and dinner with Mrs Tootsie, a Porsche Cayenne for fetching my family out, bmw m5 for work, a Honda civic type R and a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X to mod. Another 2 cars I may consider would be the Audi r8 and Porsche 911 GT3.
Mrs Tootsie: WHAT ABT MY MINI COOPER!!! SOBSOB....ALWAYS REM ALL UR "MISTRESS". REM you said you will buy me a cooper! SOBSOB

Swimming pool. This would be the place to chill and hold gatherings with friends.

Walk in wardrobes for your wife's(which would be a taitai) hundreds of bags and shoes. Of course we have to have dehumidifier. Wouldn't want those precious leather to turn mouldy.

Spa like bathrooms..
Mrs Tootsie: Woo I luv it...SPA for wellness :)

So what are you waiting for? There's only 2 of these are available so grab them while you can!
Mrs Tootsie: 30 million lor! Who can afford :(

While stocks last!

N.B. Viewing of 37 or 39 Leedon Road is strictly by appointment only.
So if you wana sneak in just to have a look, think again.

How do u spell C-O-M-M-A?

UPDATE!

"Darling, what is your office address?"

"XXX, YYY road Z"

"So its XXX, comma... how you spell comma?"

In my head I was thinking "err.. comma need to spell one meh?"

So I decided to just play along with Mrs Tootsie "its spelled C-O-M-M-A"

Waiting to laugh out loud already. In the background, my colleague was saying "sad ar sad.."

"So its C-O-M-M-A, what is C-O-M-M-A?"

Tapping my foot.. i was waiting for her to realise her mistake..

*giggles* Mrs Tootsie than burst into her signature giggles.

Finally...

So I just realise that Mrs Tootsie has a reason for asking for my office address. She said it was for some HDB stuff but when I probe further she just say HDB stuff so I didn't bother to probe any further. However, the real reason which I JUST realise was she wanted to send mackers to my office. How sweet! Cos I had "craving for mackers" on my msn. Thanks darling!

Best Fried Rice

I must say Mummy Tan (Mr Tootsie's mummy) cooks the best fried rice I have ever eaten...the taste is very special unlike the usual fried rice that you've taste outside.

As I dont consume much rice esp during dinner time, the portion was like only 2 spoonfuls, but for mummy Tan fried rice, I had a second helping and its not 2 spoonfuls ok, its the normal portion that a guy would consume :P well I mean for the second helping.

Psst Mr Tootsie maybe mummy Tan shd start a stall selling fried rice:P

Jurong brand of orange juice?

At my colleague's daughter's wedding today..

"Madam, what would you like?"

"err.. Jurong.. oops sorry.. Orange juice" Mrs Tootsie then burst into laughter again.

I hope your Jurong juice is nice.

Raincoat shoes?

It was drizzling outside yesterday and while driving...

Mr Tootsie: hmmm funny guy.....

Mrs Tootsie looked out and saw this motorcyclist with his feet covered with plastic bag (one red and white)...wat a funny sight....

As usual or expected ...Mrs Tootsie giggled continuously .....and both Mr and Mrs Tootsie laughed together at the funny sight.

Weirdo....

Does SHAW HOUSE CARPARK really EXISTS!!!!

I really wonder....

Yesterday both Mr and Mrs Tootsie were heading for their Japanese lesson and Mrs Tootsie suggested to park at Shaw House carpark since it's per entry charge from 5pm onwards...and we reached town pretty early....otherwise we will normally park our car at Shaw Centre per entry from 6pm....

We searched for the carpark...even when the security guard of Shaw House said was behind the building....FINE! BUT it was Shaw Centre Carpark! Where the hell is Shaw House carpark....esp when Mr Tootsie is rather quick-tempered....his agitation and my frustration boils up for that evening.

Bird Shit on my comforter.. with complimentary bird footprints!

My mum has always remind me to closed the windows if no one is at home. I did not listen to her. So this is what happen.. :(

Look at it closely, you can see the culprit left its foot print on it.

Luckily my mum did not get angry. When I told her about it, she smiled.. "nevermind, just take go wash again."

Happy anniversay Darling

So happen that today was Mr and Mrs Tootsie's 1yr 3rd mthsary together. Stayed overnight at Mr Tootsie's house as we are both too addicted to this HK drama. 60 episodes in all and we are still at 24th episode. .... After a night spin on Saturday night (I love cruising at night)....we headed back home and continued with our HK drama.....too nice and exciting le.....and we din realised that it was already 5am on a Sunday morning. Mr Tootsie suggested Mac Breakfast...hmmm good idea since my stomach started to complain....and so our yummy breakfast came ard 5 plus and I think we were too full and kinda sleepy le....so we decided to finally give our tired body a break at ard 6 am.......and zzzzzzzzz until late noon :P

What a fun and interesting day to spend on our anniversary....hehehe
