Our Second Step for our wedding

Sorry guys...as I was telling Darling Tootsie earlier on...our blog is dusty now :S hehehe
Partly due to our laziness and also we are rather busy lately at work...house selection..and in the midst of preparing for our big day next year. And finally we have completed the second step for our wedding prep....the selection of our bridal studio :) We have finally decided on Di Gio. Of all the 4 bridal studios that we have seen, Di Gio made us feel like a family. We feel their sincerity esp the designer whom we will be working with her in early Jan 09 for our 2 MTM gowns and she will start to design in Feb 09. I am very excited and now both our Tootsies' rooms are piled with bridal magazines:P. I recently bought 2 more bridal magazines for 2009 (with the support of Darling tootsie's mum, as she knows every girls want a perfect wedding :) That's what Darling tootsie's mum said: " As long as you are happy, I am happy" :)

For the following weekend, we will be choosing our ROM date and meeting the photographer before we made our choice of our actual day photographer. Hope everything falls in place nicely and smoothly...

Cheers
Mrs Tootsie

Early Birthday Celebration for Darling :)

As planned on the 9th Aug (National Day), I took Darling Tootsie to Morton's Steakhouse at the Oriental Hotel. On our way to the Oriental Hotel, the security outside the hotel was really tight because of the national day celebration opp at the esplanade. We were questioned by the securities the reason for going to Oriental Hotel.

At Morton's, the ambience, the services is alot more nicer than Lawrys' when we had celebrated our 1yr anni there. As for the steak, the standard is about the same just that both of us thought that Morton's indeed has provided a very good service. First appetizer was the bread. Frankly speaking, the bread looks nothing, just that it looks rather huge in size though. BUT after taking the first bite in our mouth, both of us were like...MMMMM ..... this bread is sooo soo crispy and nice...We have never eaten such nice bread except the ones we ate in Switzerland. Other than that, all the breads sold in Singapore or served in those western restaurants were normal bread.
Both Mr and Mrs Tootsie's give our thumbs up to Morton's Steakhouse. The waiter who served us was afraid that we cant finish the main course if we keep eating the bread, that he suggested he will pack the bread for us ! That's very nice of them :) We didnt know that take away services are provided in such high class restaurants.

However it wasnt a very good day for me as I was down with body aches, bad flu. Now coughing badly. But hope Darling Tootsie appreciates for what I have planned for his bday celebration before he leaves for Melb tomorrow night. I made a choc cake for Darling Tootsie. ...."Too hard and sweet" was his comment. So to conclude, it was a failure...sobsob. Darling Tootsie's enjoyed that Morton's bread more than my cake lor!!!! Hmph...happily eating even after a hearty dinner at Morton's. Oh yes, share with you guys a little secret ...psss Mr Tootsie dropped one of his eye lash when he was happily drinking the lobster bisque :P See below pics:)

"Ta bao" Morton's "Lo ti"

Our Wedding Venue

Finally we felt quite relaxed after confirming on 31 July 08 with the Manager of Pan Pacific Hotel to hold our wedding next year. We spent almost 2hrs at the lounge negotiating as many complimentary perks. Overall we were pleased with the perks we have negotiated :)

Upon which , we met Mr Tootsie's buddy Mr T and his Indonesian wife Mrs T. Its been quite a while since I last saw them during their wedding last yr. But the most unforgettable and special thing abt this couple of Mr Tootsies' is that Mrs T is born in the same yr, mm, dd as me! :)
I really like this couple as they are very humble and generous even though they are wealthy. No wonder Mr Tootsie wouldn't blink an eye when giving them a big ang bao for their wedding.

To Mr T, though you will be away to venture on your design business in Shenzhen for 6 mths and will staying there for good with Mrs T, we thank you in advance for coming back to SG for our big day. Not to forget ARA, my good fren cum colleague from Mexico whom I met during my 4 mths business trip in Switzerland...I thank you also for coming to Singapore to share our joy! Both Mr and Mrs Tootsies feel so honoured! :)
