Early Birthday Celebration for Darling :)

As planned on the 9th Aug (National Day), I took Darling Tootsie to Morton's Steakhouse at the Oriental Hotel. On our way to the Oriental Hotel, the security outside the hotel was really tight because of the national day celebration opp at the esplanade. We were questioned by the securities the reason for going to Oriental Hotel.

At Morton's, the ambience, the services is alot more nicer than Lawrys' when we had celebrated our 1yr anni there. As for the steak, the standard is about the same just that both of us thought that Morton's indeed has provided a very good service. First appetizer was the bread. Frankly speaking, the bread looks nothing, just that it looks rather huge in size though. BUT after taking the first bite in our mouth, both of us were like...MMMMM ..... this bread is sooo soo crispy and nice...We have never eaten such nice bread except the ones we ate in Switzerland. Other than that, all the breads sold in Singapore or served in those western restaurants were normal bread.
Both Mr and Mrs Tootsie's give our thumbs up to Morton's Steakhouse. The waiter who served us was afraid that we cant finish the main course if we keep eating the bread, that he suggested he will pack the bread for us ! That's very nice of them :) We didnt know that take away services are provided in such high class restaurants.

However it wasnt a very good day for me as I was down with body aches, bad flu. Now coughing badly. But hope Darling Tootsie appreciates for what I have planned for his bday celebration before he leaves for Melb tomorrow night. I made a choc cake for Darling Tootsie. ...."Too hard and sweet" was his comment. So to conclude, it was a failure...sobsob. Darling Tootsie's enjoyed that Morton's bread more than my cake lor!!!! Hmph...happily eating even after a hearty dinner at Morton's. Oh yes, share with you guys a little secret ...psss Mr Tootsie dropped one of his eye lash when he was happily drinking the lobster bisque :P See below pics:)
