sooooooooooo..............the classic adventures of Mrs Tootsie is back

Two classics of Mrs Tootsie that happened last Saturday ...well shd I say three classics...that include one that happened today over lunch with my colleague Ms A from Mexico.

Classic 1 (Saturday, 23 June 07) at Titisee, Schwarzwald.

Both myself and Ms A were inside this shop. I was looking at those lovely angels figurines...too engrossed...I knew that someone has passed by and stopped beside me. Her size, the colour of her dressing was so similiar to Ms A and so all the while I assumed it was Ms A who was beside me......

I turned around with my eyes fixed on the angel figurine without looking up and said : IS THIS NICE.....to the person (whom I "assumed" was Ms A).

................Silence.............no response and I looked up. Oppps...it was not Ms A and the lady was giving me a blank look. I controlled myself and turned around and kept giggling. When I told Ms A, both of us laughed until our stomach ached.

Classic 2 (Saturday, 23 June 07) at Titisee, Schwarzwald.

Ms A and myself were returning back to Basel. So we found a seat while waiting for the train at Titisee train station. On the bench there sat an old couple. I sat on the bench first. When I sat, there was a loud THUD and both the old couple jerked. All of us, including Ms A saw what happened and kept laughing. Well I guess I must be too heavy ;( cuz when I sat on the bench, both the couple jumped up abit....

Hmm must be the bench lar.....too old le.....better change to a new one lar....

Classic 3 (Wednesday, 27 June 07) at Rosental canteen, where my office is

Both Ms A and I were chatting while having our lunch at the same time.
Ms A's spoken english wasn't that clear...so sometimes I might need her to repeat.

I cant remember what I told Ms A but I knew its about our mother.

The classic begins here....

Ms A: ur manager is a woman?

Mrs Tootsie : (trying hard to figure out what Ms A was talking abt...but since the last conversation was about our mothers) , I replied : she is a housewife

Ms A was giving me a blur look ( I suppose Ms A must be thinking what housewife am I talking about) ??????????????

So I asked Ms A to repeat what she asked....Guess what !! She was asking whether is my manager back in Singapore....a woman...

I burst out laughing and told Ms A I have misinterpreted her question and again both of us laughed it off.

Well thats my classics that I have accumulated for days....stomach cannot take too much laughter any more...too much laughing gas....no wonder I "detox" twice today....hehehehe

Mrs Tootsie's Pig Trotters

Oh dear....I think my legs or should I say my pig's trotters are getting fatter? or heavier? My one and only pair of working shoes...and its my fav shoes...is spoilt...one of the base sole..cracked...no wonder when I walk I can feel the ground abit.....

Mrs Tootsie saw Ice Rain the first time :0

Woo..this was the first time I saw ice rain (well maybe I'm sua ku cuz it never happens in Singapore even if it is...I wasnt born into this world yet haha)...so it really looks beautiful when I look out from my apartment window. I cant imagine summer is coming and still there'll be ice rain. Isn't wonderful if it snows :0....hmmm snow..my fav.

But well another sad thing is...I gonna move out of this great place within a few hrs and stay in a hotel (with no fridge, no water flask...I cant imagine that). Luckily its only 10 days...and I'll back again to Trillen Apartmenthaus on the 18th June :) till the end of my stay in Basel HOORAY....reallz counting and Yeap hoping also that Mr Tootsie can secure a seat and fly here.

London Famous Four Season Duck Rice

Hee I have been really longing for chinese food and its sooo nice to see so many chinese food restaurants during my trip in London last Sat. Ms J had duck rice...looks Yummy right...it is..... and I wanna drink something soupy...so I had pork dumpling soup with mee...makes me feel back home :)

and so today we had a mini party organised by the head of PA (my dept) ~ Marcel. He is really a good host....as usual a Thank You speech...and everyone got a gift....a bottle of red wine and lottery ticket hehehe....results will be out tmr..May I win Yeah!

"ENLIGHTENMENT" for Mrs Tootsie

Finally I see light in my apartment toilet and kitchen after a 3 days short circuit since last Fri. Like what Mr Tootsie said..."Enlightenment" hehehe. And so here's a few snap shots of my Trillen Apartment. Not as fantastic or cosy as what you would think but well..it's still alright for me if staying alone >)

So..... I went to my colleague's apartment for dinner. Ms C.L and her husband are nice to organise a dinner with Ms R, Ms Cookie, Ms V and her husband and myself to their apartment. Oh yes how can I not include our big chef for tonight's sumptuous dinner ~ Ms Soke Meng (see attached pic). I shall let u guys know her big name. She cooked bee hoon, steamed fish and tandoori chicken. Yummy. As for Ms V, she's an indonesian so she cooked spicy prawns and vege. It tastes great too esp the spicy prawns though they are not my fav tiger prawns hehehe. We had a bit of wine and I think I drank too much, I started to get abit tipsy and got rashes too opps.... But the white wine is nice that's why I had abit too much. kekeke.

And this is the first time I saw sun set here, in Basel. It was already 9pm then. Anyway tonight's dinner was a good one esp when we are in such a nice cosy apartment. Well deco and I feel so jealous how am I not staying in such a apartment. Sob Sob.

Well maybe when you've seen my room, u will know why I feel so jealous why cant I not get those big cosy apartment. Its just so unfair isn't!
